Region IV Development Association, Inc.
"Far up in the deep blue sky, great white clouds are floating by; all the world is dressed in green; many happy birds are seen, roses bright and sunshine clear show that lovely June is here."
On June 19, 1865 enslaved African Americans in Texas were told they were free. A century and a half later, people across the U.S. continue to celebrate the day, which in now a federal holiday.
Our office will be closed on Monday, June 19, 2023 to honor this glorious day.
Thank you to everyone that joined us on June 1st, to welcome Sheba Person-Whitley, the EDA Seattle Regional Director to the Magic Valley!
